Sandoval Welcomes General Consul Macias to Chicago

Senator Martin Sandoval (D-11) welcomes Mexico’s new General Consul Macias to Chicago during Hispanic Heritage Month. Mike Duarte, owner of 5 Estrellas Restaurant hosted the event. Dignitaries and local businessmen welcomed General Consul Macias to the Mexican community.

“General Counsel Macias has a long trajectory of public service to Mexico,” said Sandoval. “He has served as a congressman and federal senator and now the Mexican immigrant community abroad in the United States. We will benefit from his leadership and experience.”
