State Senator Martin Sandoval (D-Chicago) met with parents, teachers and students at Azuela Elementary School to donate one thousand dollars towards the eighth grade student trip. Ten top eighth grade students will get the opportunity to travel to Chile at the end of the school year as part of a curriculum aimed at broadening students' horizons and giving them a look at the world.
“I applaud Principal Navarro for leading the charge in providing first-rate education on the southwest side of Chicago,” said Senator Sandoval.
