Senate Transportation Chairman Martin Sandoval (D-Chicago) and IDOT Region One Engineer John Fortmann, P.E. visit the railroad crossing at Central Avenue and 54th Street. A plan to construct a grade separation to alleviate traffic is in the works (Phase 1).

State Senator Martin Sandoval (D-11) appointed Brenda Bedolla as his new Legislative Community Liaison. Bedolla recently graduated from Morton College and plans to attend Northeastern Illinois University in the fall.
